Yandere Simulator: The Prequel - The Visual Novel takes place at the last week of March 2017, one week before the events of the original Yandere Simulator game.

Ayano was a girl who felt nothing in her entire life: She never loved anyone, never had any feelings. She never felt happy, or sad, or angry, depressed... But when she meets a boy named Taro Yamada (Senpai) for the first time, she finally feels happy for the first time in her life, could not stop thinking about him, and falls in love with him.
However, she is not the only one to love him. A lot of girls in Akademi Highschool also have a crush on him. What will she do about this? Will she become a sick girl wanting to kill those girls for her Senpai, or will she finally learn how to be happy somehow? It is all in your hands in Yandere Simulator: The Prequel.
