<report>A-4 generally was better than I thought it would be. Pretty fun all-around though I think these routes having slightly rushed romance just kinda shows how obviously fandisc-y they are. Despite Majikoi being my favorite VN series, at this point the milking needs to be stopped.

I didn't really have high hopes for Lin route, mostly cuz the China girls had very little screen time up to this point. But I ended up liking it. Lin and the other girls were fun. The yandere part was kinda weird, but overall the build up to the romance was fun, and I'm always happy to see more Kazama Family scenes.

Homura's route was very chill. It was nice to have the Kazama Family + Gen get along with different Warriors of the West. Homura herself was generally nice.

<report>Honestly A4 kinda put me off at first because I could barely even remember the characters, Lin especially. Homura's route was surprisingly decent and relaxing - giving that more classic "Majikoi" feeling of just hanging out with the gang reminiscent of the first game that usually makes people truly like and enjoy the VN.

Lin's route however is what stands out to me the most in this. The story is absurd (as all Majikoi routes tend to be, if we're fair), but Lin's characterization is quite nice, and the other girls in Liangshan aren't bad either. The route takes a bit of a weird approach at times (such as the small yandere segment) but Yamato is a more decent protagonist in this route than in others and tends to solve things satisfactorily.

One of the better fandiscs.

<report>This seems to be the only novel of the series where Yamato was pretty alpha on all routes, well not the kind of alpha we all know but the kind of alpha who seems to always know what he's doing and doesn't act way too much of a hungry pervert who pounces on the heroine and the author just has to make so that the heroine would like it. It was more natural compared to the others and Homura's route was pretty bland but at least it's at least not where the typically guy getting flustered every few seconds and acting giddy after a confession. The story is a bit beyond decent even though it felt too short. I'd still give a perfect score.
