Description

Design clothing and romance a guy of your choice. Tailor Tales is an otome that has you playing a female fashion designer who runs her own boutique. Set in a fictional European country, her life gets complicated when she meets a certain guy in a fateful encounter. Throughout the game she'll be required to design clothes for clients to earn enough gold to purchase the next chapter of the story.

Customize your main character's looks and choose whether to be 'fierce' or 'kind' with your guy. Perhaps you'd like to kiss him first, or would rather he take the lead; it's all your choice and there are no bad endings! Each guy has his own unique route so you can jump right in and experience a completely different story.

<report>I am playing Tailor Tales Plus, the 18+ version available via patreon. So far, I've finished Grey's route, and am currently playing Caine's route; I will only be commenting on these two.

What I like: the LIs, the sprites and CGs, no bad endings, sex scenes are steamy enough. Writing on Grey's route was mostly excellent -- 8.5/10. Love Caine as a character. My heart <3

What I dislike: Honestly, I dislike the entire premise of Grey's route; It's too far fetched. The writing for Caine's route is noticeably poorer, but not terrible; It gets better as the story goes on.
I picked up Tailor Tales because I was absolutely desperate to play more R18 otomes, and I'd heard good things about it. I can't say it totally lives up to the hype, but it comes close. Low replay value though. 7.5/10.

I went in not expecting much since it's an otome and I'm not particularly a romantic person. If I read otome I read it for the drama, not for some wholesome fluffiness. The VN is free so nothing to lose except time. The clothing designing was one of the reasons I was interested when looking at the game. Turns out I enjoy reading it quite a lot, and the writer has such a good sense of humour. Even though the stories aren't mindblowingly original, the encounters of the characters are quite hilarious and well written.

When I read through the character profiles before reading the... Read more ยป
