Description

TenInai is about a senior high school boy with relationship problems; he's got few friends and perhaps because of his bothersome kid sister, is averse to any steady relationship. That is, until he has a sexual encounter with Kurihara Touko. Touko, a classmate of his, is a sensitive, simple girl desperate to make an impression on others, and willingly offers herself to the protagonist. He runs away from a relationship; Touko clings to him hoping to find one. This unusual relationship soon leads them on a long soul-searching journey.

<report>Shortish romance game with heavy drama. The protagonist is a depressed loner edgelord who finds himself in a kind of fuckfriends relationship with a timid girl, from there the story branches into 5 very different routes with a lot of ugly drama.

Probably what will make or not the game for anybody is the protagonist, he's kind of a piece of shit but I found him charming and refreshing compared to the average eroge MC, kinda funny he is faceless and nameable since he has quite the personality.

The game features a lot of heavy topics like suicide and whatnot and the routes get pretty dark with a lot of grim relationships, I love how the game doesn't hold back at all. If you like writers like Hayakari I'm sure you'll enjoy this too.

<report>December is a month for lovers. It is a month where one cannot avoid being reminded of society's rules and conventions of romance. Teninai is a story about those that rebel against these rules.

Kida Tokinori is a scarred teenager who has developed a purely transactional system for human relationships. It is implied that past traumas have taught him to avoid accepting unsolicited kindness, and that people can only be trusted when there is equivalent exchange in services between them. The system he created to cope is ironically an immense burden. Kida sees little in himself that he can offer to others, making it impossible to justify his place in society.

Kurihara Touko has survived by... Read more »

<report>Looking at the rating I gave, it's uncharacteristically high for a game without mind-blowing production/writing/ambition. Rather than being so phenomenal it overcomes problems the rating comes from the game not having a lot of the pretty annoying drawbacks and quirks that even many "great" games have.

Something worth mentioning first is the structure of the game. It's works well for interleaving the stories (girls) together and fleshing out the game. I think the genius lies in the fact that game leaves things up in the air. It explores what it wants to explore. It's not held back by it's short length, that is it's potential in exploring deeper and an "actual" ending, wherever that... Read more »
