<report>I heard this would be the 'real' continuation for Aokana, showing what FC is truly about. I went into this with high expectations, and it definitely did show what FC is about. The production quality is of course spectacular as expected.

But there's too much FC! Of course I wasn't expecting it to be purely romance like EX1 was, but wow. I was sorely disappointed on the romance aspect of this read. The romantic scenes that there are (some of which tie heavily into FC) are great, but also there aren't enough of them, and there's not as much slice of life stuff as I'd have liked.

The FC scenes are definitely really hype at times, but I also found myself bored at others. If you love FC, this will be great, if not, then it's still a good read but not 10/10 cute. I liked EX1 more.

<report>It's an Aokana fandisc that serves as a continuation of Misaki's route.

I was nervous to read this after Extra 1 left such a bad taste in my mouth, But, this time around, it's back to more of what was interesting about the original VN, with a greater focus on some themes that were either not explored too in-depth before, or couldn't be examined in the original.

I like the focus on embracing change in the game (the scornful attitude towards this was my least favorite thing about Asuka's route in the original), and it's nice that characters who played a minor role before get some spotlight here. The balance between sports and romance scenes is perfect. Just as with the original, it's a great novel that will resonate especially with anyone who's ever engaged in serious competition before.

<report>Aokana – EXTRA2 is a fitting follow-up to Misaki’s route in the original Aokana, with an exciting focus on Flying Circus and the feelings that occur when competing in sports with friends and rivals. Even as someone with no interest in sports, I was hooked. If you enjoyed this side of Aokana, I’d certainly recommend you pick it up.

<report>I'm not a huge fan of FC, so this wasn't the greatest experience for me. I can absolutely recommend it though if you love FC to the point where you live and breathe FC. This extra is almost purely FC focused. I'm not kidding, this is just shy of having the same amount of FC matches as the base game while being about the same length as Extra 1.

<report>I feel if you really want to enjoy this, be Misaki's fan. I'm not too fond of her but I read it anyway, and it detriments my enjoyment. The story itself is ok but in my opinion by trying to lift the quality, I think they went too far. OST is still great as usual and bgm too. About the FC parts... I don't really know. I watch real-life sports as well and seeing sport described slowly line by line instead of by movement kind of making me impatient at times
