Description

Lizzie has it all: a loving boyfriend, a beautiful collection of knives, and an intense desire to murder. She's escaped the conspiracy that forced her to kill in self-defense, but now she needs to adjust to normal college life.

All Lizzie wants is to act like a normal couple, graduate from university, and get married. But a committed relationship isn't enough to stabilize her, and she finds herself spending a lot of time with her knives.

This visual novels plunges you into the mind of a deeply unstable young woman, viewed entirely from her skewed perspective. Your task is to find a way for her to be a normal student, a supportive partner, and not a serial killer. This is a short visual novel with an emphasis on unreliable narration and subtle consequences of the player's actions.

<report>its unfortunately not as long as the first game, and the story frankly doesn't seem to go anywhere here, unlike the first game that had a couple of possible events through each playthrough, this one is much more linear and choices feel a lot less consequential.

That said this is still a continuation of what I believe to be a very well written game with two excellent characters, the ending is wonderful and the author performed an excellent favour by writing this one not from the perspective of John but Lizzie instead.

The game does some neat things with the mouse on occasion, and pay special attention to the capitalizing cause that actually comes up in an interesting way.

I personally hope to see more of these two in future.

As a Yandere fan this and the first game are definitely two of the best, if not the best, Yandere games I have ever played. They are also pretty much the only Yandere games I have ever played where there is a serious (and successful!) attempt at delving into the mind of the Yandere (including interesting small touches using the gameplay and character pictures that I won't spoil) and trying to actually understand her and find a way to minimize her worst instincts and focus on her best. Like, I normally find the bad ends in Yandere games to be an important aspect of what interests me in playing them, but here I didn't... Read more »
