<report>A VN at a school where you solve the mystery of 7 rumors. The story can be really interesting at times and throw twists as well as go places you might not expect. However, this game also has a tedious and frustrating process to 100% completion, some parts are left unexplained, a cast of characters that are mostly unmemorable, and unsatisfying endings. The puzzle minigame is unique, but it can leave you frustrated. Not to mention if you lose, you are sent to the title screen. Also, I wish it had more story CGs. 10 is fine, but almost half of them look identical to another one. While the visuals look fine, the mouths aren't animated well. Imagine Nekopara, but the mouths just move at the same pace during a line. I wish I could enjoy this more, but I left this VN with a frown on my face.

<report>I love good mystery visual novels, and this novel's blend of mystery and puzzle mechanics (which it "borrowed" from Huniepop) were interesting.
But a good novel knows how to stick the landing, and this one fails miserably at that.
Not only does it have an annoying precision parkours to access the true ending (one misclick and you missed it), but the true ending is so bad, I wanted to throw my controller against the wall.
Spoiler: it's no true end, but a tease for a possible sequel. Well screw you - I'm never buying that sequel!
If you want to play this, wait until it goes on sale. It's already been on the Nintendo eshop for like €1,99. Do NOT pay full price. It's not worth it.

<report>Kotodama is a very underappreciated masterpiece with topics so deep and philosophical, most people aren't able to understand it. Also the design of the characters (especially Toyamaniac 2) and the very mechanically difficult gameplay (totally not candy crush) are just incredible. 10/10 looking forward to part 2
