Then everyone agreed to do it, each person hold a part of human-shaped paper and to pull it at the same time. One, Two, Three! They pulled it together and about to went home but soon after something like earthquake happened and all blacked out.

<report>I had way more fun with this than I was expecting to. The atmosphere is just excellent and I think the graphics really help with setting the mood. There are SFX everywhere, from tripping over boards, stepping on glass, just little things you really wouldn't expect. The voice actors really did an outstanding job of selling every scene and making sure you knew how intense every situation was. I wasn't expecting the OST to be as awesome as it was either. It desperately needed some CGs for certain scenes though. Describing a situation can only do so much. The story wasn't anything to really write home about, but the journey itself is just excellent. Watching characters get tossed into chaos and seeing their interactions is just really enjoyable. Can't wait to play the sequels.

<report>This game is one of the best RPGMaker-esque horror titles, except that these kind of games are mediocre at best. Atmosphere in Corpse Party is good, I give you that, but anythinng else, as it tends with this style of games is nothing to write home about. VA's work is also good enough. Story at the first glance is better than it actually is, characters are okay, but there's so many of them and only 5 out of the main cast are fleshed out. This also includes the stupidest actions and writing such as Yuka's pee arc. Gameplay also at times might be cryptic af, softlocking from getting true end because you didn't do stuff in the correct sequence.

Imo this is the only one that deserves attention, because games down the line are pretty lackluster at best and garbage at worst.
