<report>Nice and fun story about earthlings struggling against aliens. Unfortunately i thought it was a little too fast-paced, which made some bits and pieces confusing, specially about the backstory. The huge amount of CGs gives a good dynamic to the humor (even though it wasn't exactly up my alley). I'm probably the one person that didn't really like the "panty & stocking" style anime scenes, i would've been more interested in seeing them in regular VN format. Overall, if you want a fun and short experience with high amounts of production value, i recommend it. Borderline good VN.

<report>Absolutely one of the most stylish in your face VN's available right now. The actual plot is a little bit on the thin side, but the artwork and the sheer volume of it and the animations they include is really impressive. Overall an enjoyable experience, though it's story didn't leave as much of an impression as I'd hoped it would. There's not much structure to it at all, recommend binging it, if you take your time at all you'll forget what's going on and there's very little structure in it.

<report>To put it simply, it’s definitely style over substance but that’s forgivable since it’s really stylish and the substance is at least decent. It’s easily got the highest production value to hour of any VN. It’s got a ridiculous amount of CGs for a ~six hour read along with some pretty neat animation sequences and a pretty solid soundtrack as well.

It reminds me most of a Cartoon Network programme somehow. Some of the setting and plot elements are intentionally absurd, there’s quite a bit of random comedy and the animation sequences are more reminiscent of some of the older sorts of animation than anime. The overall story felt a bit messy but I feel the other elements of the VN make up for it.

<report>❌ Doesn't work on Steam Deck (10/12/2022). It gets stucked when trying to load main menu, right at the start of the game.

Never seen a visual novel with so huge production value before, it's completely worth the price. The story pace becomes a bit too slow right in the middle and everything has a comical tone added. Not recommended if you don't like silly humour.

<report>Marco and the Galaxy Dragon is about a girl named Marco and a dragon named Arco as they go to Earth to hopefully find Marco’s mom. However, they end up getting into something bigger as they help the humans living on the planet fight against aliens. First, let me talk about the production value in this VN because OH MY GOODNESS! 1000 CGs? 50+ tracks?! Animated scenes in a cartoony artstyle?!!! Wow!

While the premise seems intense and this VN does have some emotional scenes, there are a lot more comedic moments from beginning to end, whether it's the dialogue or a VA's delivery. The characters are great with things like Tera's dialogue and Marco being expressionless at times which results in... Read more »

<report>Marco & The Galaxy Dragon is a pretty unique visual novel. It has over 1000 CG's (slides), which is an insane amount for a 7 hour long game. Since almost everything is illustrated in great detail, there's virtually no narration, the only text is dialog, all of which is voiced in Japanese, including the protagonist. The game also uses Rick & Morty style animated shorts for some of its action sequences, and they can be decently long. The soundtrack is amazing as well, with a very catchy OP song and a huge variety of tracks, from piano to rock to chiptunes. This is definitely one of the higher budget visual novels that I've seen yet and no wonder it costs $70 in Japan.

The story's premise is... Read more »
