felt pretty incomplete and forced in the parts where one should've cried. not sure what KEY was planning to do with this Visual Novel but seems like it would be the perfect novel for someone who likes geocaching and treasure hunting. would've preferred if they killed Mia instead of leaving her in coma and waking her miraculously (to be fair not sure if the last CG meant that she died or not).
the visuals are nice (reminded me of ドーナドーナ) and the voice acting is also pretty good. there's not really much to say besides that.
a lot of parts felt off when the world was crumbling and it could've just developed much better if they had spent more time with character building and probably made a cool plot twist with it (probably Tyler throwing Mia into the gate and he stayed there or smth else).

Let me be clear that I went into Loopers expecting the camaraderie and feels generally associated with Key titles, and less of the suspense mystery that Ryukishi is known for.
I was basically right. Strong fans of R07 likely won't like Loopers because it diverges too much from his traditional works. Fans of Key stories, and especially readers than can connect with the main cast and judge the story more on emotions than on complex and deep storytelling, have a better chance of enjoying it. And I definitely fall into that category.

In my previous experience with Ryuukishi07's work, this is by far the worst. I was looking forward to this game being released in English, but upon completion, I am utterly disappointed. Save your money.

First of all, a vanilla ice cream cone has more flavor than the protagonist, Tyler. Throughout the story, I learned nothing about him. He had no character development at all. He is your typical happy-go-lucky character.

Second, I would like to talk about Simon. It is just very convenient that he is able to remember all data and seems to have a very good upbringing to be stuck in the loop. Furthermore, the connections he has outside of the loop just seems very convenient.

Round and round he goes, when he'll stop no one knows. If there was ever an author whose name has become synonymous with the time-loop story it's Ryuukishi07. It's featured as a staple in his When They Cry series, the epilogue he wrote for the remake of Kamaitachi no Yoru, and even though he only wrote the Lucia route in Rewrite, the game itself is a looping story. Needless to say, the man is experienced, and Loopers is not his or Key's first time producing a story in this genre, yet both seem to have assumed the other party was bringing more to the table than what was actually presented.
