Description

A Normal Lost Phone is a game about exploring the intimacy of an unknown person whose phone was found by the player.

The game takes the shape of a narrative investigation: you have to search the phone’s text messages, pictures and applications, in order to learn about its former owner. Through this phone, you uncover Sam’s life, friends, family and relationships, until the evening when they turn 18 and mysteriously disappear.

<report>Even though I occasionally felt a bit uncomfortable with the idea of invading someone's privacy (even though it's fiction), I can't deny that my gossiper side spoke louder. Just at the beginning, I became hooked by the worried messages from parents and wanted to understand everything that had happened. I have many compliments on the game design. Everything on the cell phone interface has a purpose and leads to some clue for a next password or discovery. The story, as simple as it is, talks about some difficult problems for many people. Games that deal with delicate subjects with such sensitivity are indispensable to me.
