Description

Spring break. Miyamura Miku, a hobby writer of light novels, is approached by her older sister Miyamura Karin, who reveals to her that she's working as a voice actress for erotic games.

"The company I am working for right now needs someone to assist with writing the sex scenes!" Karin asks for Miku's assistance.

"Wait, I'm still a virgin, you know? I have no clue how to write such a thing!"

At the same time the protagonist, Shiiba Masashi, is getting a sudden call from his big sister.

"Jeez, we can't! We're delaying. Can't. Impossible. We delay."

The one who keeps repeating these phrases like a broken record, is the protagonist's older sister, Shiiba Sayaka - CEO as well as scenario writer of the popular upstart eroge brand "Hades Soft".

"If we delay now, then we're done for. The sponsors will be chasing us for the rest of our life in order to reclaim the cash. We have to find a solution or I'll be to the neck in debt! I'll come haunt you if this kills me, okay?!"

And so, Masashi ends up being roped into helping them with their eroge development?!

This game is centering around eccentric heroines like the artist Suzumoto Chisa (pen name: Suzuse Akiko) and the reclusive colorist Sakakibara Ai. Here comes an ADV about creating eroge that's a little on the weirder side.

<report>I decided to pick this up after having translated the desc.

Do you guys know Shirobako? This game is basically that show, but with the overarching plot that so far successful eroge company "HadesSoft" runs into unfortunate problems which causes them to delay their next game if protagonist Shiiba Masashi and his childhood friend do not enter the company.

Introduced to a handful of eccentrics fulfilling different roles (writers, artists, ero-seiyuu, PR design, debugger) we learn about their craft. We also learn a lot about the industry. F.e we find about how there are sponsor companies that finance eroge firms and what trouble they run into should the game development process not go smoothly.

Trial is of average length, has decisions and branches, and offers 4 h-scenes at the start menu.

<report>"Extended Mini Review" rather than a "Full Review" xD

First of all I'll be making some reference to "Hibikino-san-chi wa Eroge-ya-san!" since i recently replayed it..

I like the plot more in this one, compared it to Hibikino it had a better premise and execution (imo). Since it's themed after "Eroge Makings" the game doesn't shy from some technical aspect of it (maybe a little boring for some readers but i liked it, afterall it's a VN about creators) but not really down the rabbit hole, it a good balance IMO. The characters were mostly all adults which made this interesting dynamic with MC, except Miku (she's great too). Soundtrack were decent, the OP had this fun atmosphere to it, VA... Read more »

<report>It's funny how this game and "Sousaku kanojo no ren'ai koushiki" came out on the same month, as these two games are basically "the opposite sides of the same coin". They both centers around the process of creating a game, however they are pretty much different in a lot of ways.

Enki dekinai is a light, and yet technical game that centers around the multiple process of creating an eroge. The technicality can be a bore sometimes but it is as down to earth as possible. Whether is because of a slump or unforseen circumstances, the process of creating a game has it's ups and downs and the game gives quite the detail about it.

The heroines are mostly older heroines, but all of them teases and... Read more »
