Description

In the near future, a technology called Brain-Machine Interface connects the brain and machines. This technology brings about a new paradigm and opens the gates to the digitization of human memory itself.

From these new discoveries, "he" is born. An illegal experiment mixes thousands of memories into a single vessel, creating a wholly new being.

Having only the memories of others, doubts about who he truly is start arising in his mind, until he gathers the courage to go out into the world in search of his true self.

As he steps into the real world, he meets two girls, Kido Tsubasa and Ibaraki Rino. Both kind souls whose lives have been touched by unscrupulous BMI experiments, just like him. Learning to live together with their secrets, "he" and "they" will bring about big changes...

<report>Parquet is not as bad as many might would say.
the first 5 Hours are not that interesting yes, but that Ending made it worth reading, and also the after Storys.
Just don't go into this one expecting Romance or good Comedy.
This is not a bad VN, just a bad Yuzusoft VN, plain and simple.
Art is really good and the Girls look cute.
The biggest problem is the pacing. It would have been a lot better if that had made this one even shorter than it already is. a lot of the dialogue especially in the beginning were so boring and uneventful I thought about dropping it for a moment.
This is a good VN for Someone new to Visual Novels, but to Veterans like me who read 200 VN's?
not that great.

<report>First of all, if you are looking for a romance-style vn, this one is definitely a pass. The plot is more focused on family bonding and friendship between characters.
For the plot, since the game time is short, many interesting settings of the world of Parquet cannot be utilised completely, which I think is a waste with the potential world settings.
Even so, I personally think the plot itself in Parquet is not really that bad but also not really outstanding, it definitely can be better.

<report>It might not be an awful vn, but its not great either. While it may have an interesting setting, the characters and just the whole experience overall was just bland. It lacks the humor and charm of the main yuzu titles. Its also short and expensive. I just really cannot recommend it.
TLDR: A "yuzusoft" title without anything that makes a yuzusoft title good.

<report>PARQUET, Yuzusoft's first All-Ages title, can be described as an experimental venture. But like with all prototypes, it has its imperfections.

Even without the romance, PARQUET still has an intense level of intimacy between its three lead characters. And like with all Yuzusoft titles, its cute heroines are still as charming as par for the course.

PARQUET may not have the most engaging plotline and hilarious interactions, but in its heart-to-heart moments and its last 2 chapters, there are strong emotional cores--exploring and sharing their own thoughts about their own life and happiness.

<report>Pros:
UI is really clean, and some of the UI implementations are really nice, like instant save without changing windows
3x Speed makes this VN actually tolerable, and was a godsend reading this
I like the main girl designs

Cons:
Everything else.
First of all, the setting is so terribly implemented, and makes absolutely zero sense with the information we are given
Because they spent so much more time trying to make "serious" scenes, yuzusoft's main strength of making girls cute in sol scenes loses a lot of focus, making the girls feel unnecessary and extremely boring as characters
The final confrontation of the "villain" is a complete joke, and the villain's motives are even more of a joke

10/10 ironic comedy, but 2/10 taken seriously. Not worth writing a full review for how bad it is

<report>This was a great story, probably not a masterpiece but something to recommend for a new reader without a doubt.
If you see people hating this game then most chances are they are angry because it doesn't have any ero in it and that's perfectly fine in fact what makes this a great game was the lack of ero in it.
I can actually see the scenes where the ero scenes would have been and I cringe to imagine the outcome... just ruining a perfect scene with some cheap porn for the sake of it.
This is a story about friendship and family with some sci-fi elements.
It has great character development and a decent plot added on top.
As I said before is not perfect and there are some things that wont make much sense but overall I think it was a wonderful experience, great voice acting and decent music.

<report>honestly kinda underrated, the plot is nothing special but you're not playing a yuzuge for the plot.
you're here for the art, character design, and cute waifus which this vn nails
having less heroines let them put more attention to detail to the 2 heroines, they each have 4 outfits, rino has 60 different expressions while tsubasa has 50, and they definitely utilize them to the fullest, they constantly change expressions during their lines which makes them come alive
the mc's interactions with the heroines along with the heroines' cuteness had me constantly grinning like a mfer
i'm not one to nitpick so you could say im biased, but i think this vn gets a bad rep from being all ages
even if the vn has faults, i gave it a 10 because that's how much i enjoyed it, rino is just too cute

<report>The idea of the story is interesting but it is not developed well enough i think. The character are cute but the main problem is the new setting system that is worse compared to other yuzusoft visual novel

<report>Yuzusoft be like: Alright this is short, let's remove porn for a side project. What they produced? Their best game that sustains quality from start to finish. Oh my God. Delete porn -> amazing game. Amamiya Ritsu, you have talent, stop writing eroge, just write plotge really. Plot is good, making us wonder of things. No random ecchi jokes that's plaguing normal Yuzusoft games, even if there are, it's reasonably brief rendezvous. The downside is a bit of predictability at one point and the after but the latter is understandable. Absolutely worth it if you are reader type that's not fixated on "vn has to be r-18 or else".

<report>If you're in for the H, just don't bother.

Parquet is an story about a dude (the MC) who's the result of an amalgamation of talents, ideas and memories put into one body to create the "perfect" human being. After a few comes-and-goes, he decides that being a "puppet" ain't enough and embarks into the unknown to know what it is to be "human". After a bad start, he gets to meet a purple/green haired girl called Rino and another blonde/turquoise haired girl called Tsubasa. Together with them, the MC starts its journey which, obviously, comes with its own amount of problems.

Frankly speaking, there isn't a single person that knows Yuzusoft that reads their VNs for the "plot", but for the cute... Read more »

<report>I'm a big Yuzusoft fanboy and I believe they make the best overall Moe/Eroges out there. Their titles feature gorgeous artwork, good character designs, >average OST, long, but not overly so, H-scenes (unlike the ones in Waffle's Kyonyuu series) which are pretty sexually stiumating while developing the relationship between the MC and heroine well (Circus's scene are a far cry away in my opinion), and interesting (enough) and well written storylines. This all-age title from their sub brand is quite different though.

Firstly, if you are relatively (or even totally) new to this media genre, then I will recommend buying it (16 bucks on Steam, good deal imo). The artwork is absolutely drop-dead... Read more »

<report>A Yuzusoft game boiled down to it's purest form.

It's hard to exactly communicate what makes Parquet work, but for lack of a better term I guess it's sort of the happy everyday. A place where you can feel that you'll belong no matter what day it is, or friends that you could confide in with complete confidence, or something like that.

It's not an incredibly grand narrative theme or anything super interesting, but it's absoulutely fucking intoxicating. It's probably the greatest pleasure humankind could ever hope to experience, and the same kind of psychedelic is present in a lot of moeges and several of Yuzusoft's other games.

Interesting enough, it seems as the amount of this "warmth... Read more »

<report>It's amazing game.

In the beginning, it was me. Then she gave my name to explore the world. Then I met the girl (Rino and Tsubasa) who is 2 souls in one body.
I'm exploded in curiosity, why and how she can do that? They can't meet each other except though BMI.
After several "boring" chapters (I exclude the Dream Dive case and Baby on the Date case. I like mystery detective work), I finally know the truth cause, which is plot twist from beginning because I thought it's Rino that have a pretty bad past events.
Hashihime was the caused because her parents, then she met Kido. And all her memories she kept for years. Thanks to her BMI knowlegde, Hashihime can create any BMIs and her metal hand
