In 206X, the resort island "Eleutheria" floats on the Adrishina Sea. The protagonist, Kusaka Yukimitsu, comes to an earthly paradise that advocates "freedom for all". Deprived of his work, his hometown, his beliefs, everything he once had up to that point...

There, Yukimitsu meets a gray-haired girl, Unica. She lost her father, and her cherished place of memories--the diner restaurant is in the hands of others and everything is taken away. Unica had a dream "I want to revive the diner".

Quite different with Crystalia's previous releases as this one is not happening inside a school, battles involves guns and the protagonist is in the frontline rather than as a support. Simply put, a charage, as each route centers around the heroine's personal conflict (kind-of). The dinner setting is lovely but it is not the dominating factor of the story, rather it is balanced with their lives around the city as well.

The technical explanation regarding the cyborg augmentation is rather nifty, as it's also not completely overwhelming. Some are too superficial, however, like the cyber food, as some of them are just a name of food with the word cyber in front... Read more »

<report>RE:D Cherish is a game that is very ambitious, even more when compared to the previous entries. When the concepts are being introduced, it also seems to be the most interesting out of all the settings presented so far by the Crystalia universe. However, the delivery of the elements is often shallow and leaves you thinking more of what could have been than what actually is. It also doesn't deliver in the romance aspect, as the character relationship is short in terms of events and capture only one aspect of it (the relationship's beginning).
