<report>Gameplay was nice but the balance between the two modes kinda sucks. On one hand, classic mode remains faithful to the original game, but gets infuriating when you don't know the heck what you are doing. Easy mode ,on the other hand, offers a built-in guide to get all the route endings/CGs, but ruins any kind of enjoyment you would otherwise get from the game such as exploration and time management.

Unfortunately, the game has been censored compared to the original, and outside the art, there is no real change to the content.
30 years ago, this might have been fine, but today?
Some of the girls don't even have a single sex scene. In an eroge. And most of the ones that do? They only get just one, and that's it.

The game itself is pretty boring. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of cute girls. But the game is extremely convoluted, and the content for the girls is pretty shallow. You'll find you've finished a girl's "route" without even realising it, and then you have nothing else to do until the end of the game if there are no other girls you want to chase after.
Then at the end you choose the girl you want the ending for, and roll credits.

The art was decent enough, but there are very minimal visuals used(especially the 1-2 CG H scenes that last all of 94 seconds). there is a lot of reusing sprites. Sandbox click and play was as expected, functional, but still not optimized.

All in all, I would not recommend this game, however, if this game interests you for some reason, go ahead and buy it, it's not offensive. Just ensure you buy it on sale.

I was satisfied with everything except the endings which felt like there could be more to it
The art is a solid 9/10 (10/10 is life changing insta orgasm art)
Music is a 8/10 it all really sets the moods for a scene to a exaggerated point
gameplay is fine not much to it except walk around and talk to people

I love this game so I feel incredibly disappointed with the endings as they were just 5 minute "this is what happend between character a and protagonist"

<report>Legendary game that pretty much brought VNs and the nanpa genre to become very popular.
Play the remake as the remake is literally a copy of the original, but with Sumeragi's visuals and better system. I recommend using the easy mode to plan your day, but not the warp system as you can miss many of the minor events.

Doukyuusei really shows the perspective of the year it was made and it really shows that within the varying heroines. One is a hooker, another is an ex-hooker, one is a cougar, one is a wife, and of course a few are your 同級生. Pretty unthinkable in today's visual novels. It's also a pretty short game and it's fun to watch the ridiculous MC be a pretty likable idiot. This game is no 'remaster' so the game itself is pretty shallow however, but hey it feels realistic!

<report>Dōkyūsei: Bangin’ Summer isn’t perfect, but it does a great job at bringing a classic into the modern era. The remake fixes most of the issues that would make it seem incredibly dated, along with updating it with some beautiful graphics.
