An ancient legend whispers of a hidden village in a sleepy, unassuming town.

Yakumo Itsuki, our protagonist, embarks on a journey towards this mythical mountaintop with his female club mates, expecting nothing more than a harmless adventure, a mere footnote in the story of their youth. But destiny, it seemed, had other plans.

"...Where on earth are we?"

As they come to their senses, they find themselves stranded in a landscape shrouded in unfamiliarity. Dilapidated houses stand ghostly in the faint mist, and an air of stagnant time whistles through the abandoned settlement. Not another soul in sight, but the remnants of life are palpable. This desolate place, nestled deep within the mountains, breathes life into the age-old tale of the lost Himeyoshi (lit. Fragrant Princess) Village.

With their journey shrouded in a foggy mystery and every attempt to escape thwarted by the relentless mist, they begin to feel the cold clasp of an eerie spell. The unsettling realization of their entrapment leaves them with the daunting task of survival in this uncanny village while clinging to the hope of an eventual escape.

However, from that day forward, Itsuki began to witness the sight of the girls indulging in indecent acts within the village. Their familiar, drenched moans echoed through the abandoned village, now filled with a sweet scent that seemed to melt into the air.

Itsuki himself isn't immune to the village's strange allure: haunted by scandalous dreams of his dark desires, he feels an ominous shadow seeping into his soul.

"You've arrived at 'Village in a Cage.' As an honored guest, please choose wisely."

A young maiden named Kagome emerges from the shadows before a bewildered Itsuki. She proclaims that one amongst them must remain behind as a sacrificial pillar to allow the rest to escape. Unwilling to accept such a sacrifice, Itsuki begins an arduous quest to unearth an escape route from this forsaken hamlet. Their fate precariously hangs in the balance — will they escape the corrupting grip of the village's vice or succumb to it?

Is this hamlet a paradise abounding in euphoria or a penitentiary ensnared by sentiment and yearning?
