Description

Losing his father when he was young, and currently lives with his mother, the protagonist―― Morino Kento.

In his second year at Aketo Hanabue Private Academy, he goes on a school trip which takes him far away from his hometown, to a place filled with exotic tourist attractions.

But at that destination, Kento's cousin lives there, and it is a town where he is already familiar with, so he does not expect anything much, however......

Caught up in a commotion caused by Shishikura Ooga―― An extremely shy childhood friend who comes from the strongest lineage in human history.

Helping a girl in trouble, becoming a "hero" for Karakuchi Hibana―― An ojousama who visits the same tourist attraction by chance on the school trip.

Getting acquainted with Amaeda Chiwa―― A cute local student and his cousin's best friend.

Earning respect as a "hero" from Aijou Michiru―― A signboard girl in the shopping district at the tourist attraction.

What should have been a school trip with nothing to expect turns out to be an exciting trip filled with new encounters.

However, when such a trip comes to an end in the blink of an eye, parting ways with these girls (except Ooga), Kento feels a bit lonely.

But with the end of such trip―― from now on with these girls, comes the start of the new love stories.

<report>Love the choice of letting heroines take the lead or let the protagonist take the lead after they become couples, as suggested by title.
Decent moege for beginners with heroines that cover most personalities people might like. My reading order is Michiru - Chiwa - Hibana - Oga
Looking forward to the fandisk.
(Also does HOOKSOFT in recent years take staff from SMEE? Like the settings are quite similar to Making Lovers. I know ASa, Hook and SMEE are literally the same company though)

<report>I usually play Hooksoft games expecting to drop it, as most of their earlier games are extremely upbeat to the point of sickening, or the complete lack of anything that may ground the story into being a bit more believable.

Recently, they've been hitting the right beats with Houkago Cinderella, and this vn. In a moege, I like it if the atmosphere is a bit more subdued, not too much insanity like one heroine being the strongest martial artist in the entire world. Just characters that feel normal is the perfect note.

In Houkago Cinderella, Youka was too good for this world and they made it better by just altering the childhood friend trope a little bit to make it feel more fresh by making... Read more »

<report>It's (new) HOOKSOFT. Same pace and style as other recent titles, since Docchi no i ga Suki Desu ka? to more recent ones, including the two types of route per heroine (tracing all the way back to SMEE's Kanojo Step). I won't waste time on that. Instead, here's a quick summary of the positives and negatives of Koi Ama in particular:

Positives and Negatives
+ Early branching, avoiding a longer than necessary common route
+ Uncomplicated and less tiring choice system, while still being decent and different enough. You can choose where to go to spend time for each hour of the day during your 4 days of trip, and each time, it's a small event with the character you chose.
+ Structure of different... Read more »
