Description

The Dorm Guardian vs. The School Guardian
Inaba Tooru has always dreamed of living a co-ed life. That’s why, when he finally managed to transfer into the renowned Rintoku Academy, he immediately fell head over heels for two Sakuras!

Sakura Nanako’s classes are strict, but at home, she turns into an overbearing mother.

Kirishima Sakura may seem cold and unfriendly, but she is always ready to lend a helping hand as the class representative.

These two girls are outwardly indifferent to Tooru, but put the three of them together and sparks begin to fly.

In the sakura-colored season of spring, two fussy Sakuras have been caught in a light-hearted love triangle.

The Internet Friend vs. The Childhood Friend
"You know how romance games always give the main character that best friend who tells him about the girls? I want to be that guy."

Fuse Naoki, the self-proclaimed best friend, is always ready to tease Tooru about his situation with the two Sakuras.

But, unbeknownst to him, he is one side of yet another light-hearted love triangle.

Nitta Akira has been Naoki's friend since before they could read and write, and is now finally living under the same (dorm) roof as him.

Tachibana Kurumi used to be Naoki's MMO raiding partner, but they were separated before she ever got a chance to meet him in real life or tell him how she felt.

"I understand him better than anyone else."

Akira and Kurumi have Naoki stumped for the first time in his life. And so, Tooru finally gets a chance to see things from the other side.

The curtains rise on this desolate showdown for love.

<report>Yeah no, to be honest with you this VN is not that bad but at the same time it's not that good, I refuse to play as Naoki because he's annoying as f*ck... Goddamn Tohru is such a beta male, this guy is strong but beta af. Not what I expected when I wanted to play the game.

Things were interesting, but yeah... These duo jackass Naomi and Akira really ruined the story but at the same time kind of spice things up. I really hate of how much a beta Tohru is. I can't believe he didn't snapped like a madman to them, I can't believe with this guy.

Not to mention, what in the actual f*ck is wrong with the people in this school man.

Oh one more thing about this game

There will be a lot of those, seriously. I'm not saying it's a bad thing but it's actually pretty unique.

<report>An early warning, I am by no means a great visual novel reviewer, nor should you 100% trust my word. I have only been reading them for about 4 years. My reviews may contain spoilers, but I try and minimize them while making the review helpful.

I picked up Sakura Sakura because it had what I liked. Teacher heroine, romance, strong protagonist, and a decent artstyle. But, after reading it, it definitely came with its downsides and personally I felt they outweighed the good.

<report>Excellent rom-com with highly memorable characters, and I mean even secondary ones like Masashi, Takada-san, the armadillo or even that big-forehead club pres: they all add to the many genuinely funny moments you’ll find in this vn. I personally remember loading a random save and seconds after, I was cracking up with some totally dumb, but equally hilarious lines/cgs. The art is just gorgeous, voice acting is top-notch and the music, especially the humor-themed tracks, was pretty awesome.

My few tiny complaints would include the double protag thing, Naoki would be more welcome in a possible sequel in my book: after all, isn’t the game called Sakura-Sakura? As for Tohru, he's too much of a... Read more »
