Description

Bazett Fraga McRemitz, a member of the Mages' Association and a master in the 5th Holy Grail War, wakes on the fourth day of the 5th Holy Grail war with a new servant, Avenger, and no memory of what happened to her beforehand. She and Avenger set off to fight and win the Holy Grail War.

Meanwhile, Shirou Emiya lives peacefully with all his friends from the 5th Holy Grail War. After her experiment alters the event horizon and changes time and space, Rin Tohsaka leaves for the Mages' Association in England to fix things. The Servants sense a new danger, and dark creatures appear soon afterward. Shirou, as a precaution, sets off to ensure nobody is in danger and instead finds himself frequently meeting a mysterious girl, Caren Hortensia.

<report>Very nice alterstory of FSN with new interesting scenario and characters. Some of the Servants' past lives are revealed.
There are also the funny mini-games (I'm still playing koi-koi sometimes).
When it comes to OST, they did pretty much good work, coz I was suffering form FSN's high frequency electronic music with no normalization, so Ataraxia music is good and friendly to your ears.

<report>Genuinely one of my favourite pieces of media, it unfortunately only works as a follow-up to Fate/Stay Night and ultimately can't stand on its own but once you reach the ending... it overtakes F/SN and it'll stick with you forever. Nasu outdid himself with the new plot elements.

<report>Pure perfetion, it's sad, that [best boyah has only six events, but at least he has some screentime]. Also you have to play Fate/Stay Night before it, if you want to understand anything. Music, CGs... Best VN I've ever played.

<report>When I started this, I wasn't expecting to like it more than F/SN, but I did. The slice-of-life moments aren't as good as the ones in Mahoyo, but they're still really enjoyable, more so than in F/SN. Characters that never got much screen time in F/SN like Lancer and Caster are in full display here. I ended up enjoying pre-existing characters that I never thought I would (Ilya's maids are pretty neat characters when they have more than a couple lines). And when it comes to the new ones, they are all phenomenal. The serious story bits are somewhat rare but really enjoyable and the plot expands on some story elements from F/SN nicely. There are far fewer action and "hype" moments but they're pretty satisfying when they do happen.

<report>I enjoyed Fate/Hollow a lot because you get to read a bit more backstory on quite a few characters and that was a nice touch. The sol was fun enough too. There is a bit of repetition going on but it has its purpose which the reader will understand as they progress through the main plotline.

The true highlight is the main plotline though, which had a few certain soundtracks that added such great immersion and thrill that those tracks will probably stick with me forever. My imagination was running wild through these scenes, and the story from the main plotline was very interesting to read.

Consider Fate/Hollow as a good side game if you want to immerse yourself in more of this universe after finishing the original game. A well done one at that.

<report>A typical fandisk that contains lots of Slice of Life scenes between the Fate/Stay Night cast. If you don't love the original's cast then Fate/Hollow Ataraxia is pretty hard to pick up and binge, since the well written scenes are few and far between.
What really stands out is the main story. It masterfully connects the structure and the themes. The original characters introduced in Hollow Ataraxia are, at least in my opinion, way better written and more relatable than anything Stay Night had to offer, and for a lot of people it might actually be worth going through the mind-numbing SoL just to get to the main story because of how great it is.
The presentation should also be praised because it shows the first steps of what would eventually become Mahoyo's incredible fights.
