Description

The main character is an Edo era painter. Having once nearly died from starvation, he now barely makes ends meet by making portraits of girls who have just been sold into prostitution. Stuck between an abusive employer and memories of failing to save any of his family members, he is one day brought a gentle girl he does not want to separate with.
They fall in love, but will it lead anywhere, or will his past continue to chain him?
