<report>I mean, if you played and enjoyed School Days, there's no reason not to play Shiny Days. It's a bit more lighthearted than School Days, and there are no truly.. bad endings. Other than that, you can rape a child, something which is always nice to see in a visual novel.

<report>It's actually somewhat difficult to actually review the game. not only on modern computers but even in older models the engine is practically held together by toothpicks and Elmer's glue. however I'd say the game is near unplayable now. I'm on windows 11 with all relevant patches and i literally can't get into the game. the main issue is Fullscreen destroys the game. The game will freeze within a few seconds and no longer progress. or if you try skipping segments, the next time you attempt to watcha segment properly or keep skipping the game with either crash or freeze. I've heard two fixes. one kinda maybe works if you're lucky. the other is play windows. the issue is the windowed version is literally game boy advanced sized. The game is unplayable nowadays which is quite saddening.

<report>Have a love-hate relationship with this one. Went into it knowing nothing. It basically being a playable anime with choices drew me in immediately. Very slice of life, which isnt for everyone, but I enjoy. Heavy focus on Setsuna who is one of the most adorable heroines in my mind.

Then I stumbled on one of the early endings (and realized the main protagonist is one of the biggest assholes out there ). At that point I actually considered dropping this game, but after some days and accepting what kind of game it is, I came back.
Way too many endings that kinda felt bad, i.e. the guy cheating on the girls or rape.. none of the girls deserve this guy as their boyfriend.
