Description

A story that takes place in a fictional world...

It was the 1st of August.

That morning, when she awoke, the heroine found herself without any memories from before August 1st...... Everything, from the sort of life she lived, to the relationships she had, was a blank......

A young boy named Orion appeared in front of her, referring to himself as a "spirit." Under Orion's guidance, the heroine began the struggle to regain her memories. She searched her house for clues about her everyday life, and received a message on her phone...

What was displayed on the screen was an unknown name to her.

Now, she is asked to meet with him, a boyfriend whose name and face she doesn't know. In a position where who to trust is uncertain, the heroine must move in a way that her memory loss remains undetected by her partner. Because of this, the story becomes tangled in complex ways.

With no memories of "him," our heroine will write a new love story starting today......

<report>✔️ Tested on Steam Deck, it works perfectly (25/02/2023). 'A' button for advancing text, 'B' for opening menu and 'X' for skipping text.

So... in this game you play as a plain and souless MC and your options to date are guys that treat you like a dog or psychos. The drawing is pretty and the VA is good but I don't think this is an otome I would recommend, I hated every single of the characters and the plot sometimes is so chaotic it doesn't really make much sense.

For me, an example of a game that aged poorly.

<report>My comfort game. One of the few games where I love the majority of the LIs. All of the routes were enjoyable. One route even had mystery aspects (my fav).
Pros: likable LIs, popular VAs, quality of the plot were consistent amongst routes, a decent amount of romance
Cons: Art quality was inconsistent ( some cgs looked great whereas others not so good), music unmemorable

<report>I never thought I would enjoy the routes so much!
I like all LIs, but my fave is Ikki!
Orion also makes the game super unique. And Waka is so much fun!! (๑>ᴗ<๑)

Pros: likable LIs, in general good pace, many surprises. LIs are complex and it was so cool to love them even more, when I got to know them better! :)

Cons: Some parts of the routes are a bit slow and sometimes it takes a while for something to happen.

I recommend it to anyone who likes a little weird LIs! (ㅅ´ ˘ `)

<report>Rating: 4/10 (“Bad”)
---- 3 points for Ukyo, 1 point for art

Recommended for: ...I don't think I'd really recommend it to anyone. Just read/watch Ukyo's route. He is best boy.

My route order: Toma > Kent > Ikki > Shin > Ukyo. Ukyo's route is the best by far. Least favourite guy? Eh....I didn't really feel enough about any of them to have an emotional reaction, but probably Toma or Ikki.

Amnesia: Memories is probably the only visual novel that can make me yawn simply from thinking about it. That's how utterly bored I was while reading it. It's an absolutely terrible sign when four out of five of the character routes feel like a chore. The sad thing is that not all of them necessarily felt... Read more »

<report>I enjoyed this game back in 2013 when I played on a shitty quality PSP emulator, and I enjoyed it years later when I replayed it on Vita. However this is a very tropey VN and I feel like unless I would have had the experience of playing it in middle school I wouldn't have liked it as much. It is a classic at this point, but not exactly because it is good.
I did not mind the doormat heroine because it sort of makes sense for the story...?

Pros:
- varied cast, I felt like every route was a considerably unique experience
- interesting world setting
- I liked the little gameplay mechanics situation with the memory meters
- absolute chaos in Toma and Ukyo route
* bonus - Toma sucks but he is... Read more »

<report>(translated from another language!)

Amnesia: Memories sings its praises, and, in principle, I can understand why

the plot is brief: in each route the main character wakes up on August 1st with amnesia, and with the help of her newly-minted spirit friend Orion (yes, this is, in a sense, fantasy fiction) she must get out of the current situation with dignity

The routes are varied and quite interesting, although two of them frankly made me cringe and twist
It’s very interesting that there are ONE dialogues, but everything is structured in such a way that you don’t need the author’s text - competent dialogues, effects and background transitions work perfectly well without text clutter
