In a certain rural school, the protagonist, Sakai Nobutaka, belonged to a class where a new transfer student, Tsukada Miki, had recently arrived. However, Miki's family was very poor, and despite having transferred a while ago, she couldn't even afford to buy a new uniform. This seemingly trivial matter caused her to gradually become ostracized by her classmates. At first, they just mocked her, but when rumors spread that her mother worked in the city's red-light district, the situation changed dramatically. Some of the formerly indifferent girls began to gossip and openly ignore her. Although not many people actively participated in the bullying, none of the other classmates offered help. Nobutaka himself had traumatic experiences of being bullied in the past, so he avoided interacting with her.
One day, on his way home, Nobutaka found Miki collapsed under the bridge. When he asked her about what happened, she explained that she had been pushed off the embankment by some boys after she continuously ignored their bullying. It was getting dark, and she had also sprained her ankle, so Nobutaka decided to lend her his shoulder and walk her home. Her well-proportioned features hidden by glasses, her large chest that he only discovered when he touched her, her faintly sweet scent, and the warmth of her body enveloping him... a faint smile she unexpectedly showed him captivated Nobutaka's heart. From that moment on, he began to harbor feelings for her. This event marked the beginning of a significant change in the fate of the two.
