| Review | I found this randomly by browsing through VNDB. It's free, and looked interesting, so I thought I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised in more ways than one. First off, the soundtrack is above average for royalty free music. Beautiful and melancholic. The ending song is also great. The art-style looks... good? It's just not really taken advantage of. There are no sprites, just silhouettes, and there's only a single CG that isn't super deformed. They could have done way better in this aspect. Futatabi Fuyu Ga Kuru Toki is a story about loneliness and appreciating the small things in life. It's probably not something you haven't seen before, but it still manages to be beautiful and has an emotional climax. I think it classifies as a hidden gem. Certainly worth your time. |
