Review | Sonohana 12 is a continuation of the story of Miya and Risa from Sonohana 11. I don't think this title can be played without playing at least their story from Sonohana 11. With that said, Miya and Risa are still one of my favorite - if not my actual favorite - couple in Sonohana so far. Between Risa's shy rules following that crumples under pressure and Miya's assertiveness, boldness, and teasing nature they just make a great couple that is amusing to read. The split between comedy bits, serious bits, and sweet bits help make this a pleasurable read without it dragging or becoming too one-note. Past that you have more standard things for the Sonohana series. It's a short (about 2 hours) read with decent music, pretty art, and some fairly hot H-scenes (8 per scene recollection). But there's nothing extremely special here either. I'd recommend this to any Sonohana fan, yuri fan, or even short story fans. |
