| Review | I don't know if I'd call this a visual novel per se - but I'm a sucker for anything that resembles Princess Maker 2, so the stat raising mechanic was very enjoyable for me. I will say, the "main route" is extremely challenging, even for seasoned raising simulators. I don't know if this was fixed in releases after the SNES, but balancing the bombs from other girls with raising your stats high enough to impress Shiori was a nightmare. Still, overall it was a super fun experience. If you play on an emulator and fast forward through the stat raising scenes, the whole thing can easily be finished in about two hours, so at the very least, if you need to reset, it's not a huge deal. |
