| Review | Having finished most of the routes in Berry's I think I can try writing a review. I may edit it if I decide to do the other routes or maybe not. I originally gave this an 8 until I played Satou Haruki and Satou Natsuki routes and I don't think I've been more frustrated by a pair of heroines ever. Lowered the score to a 6. Dammit. So I'll talk about the twins and what went wrong. Spoilers, in Natsuki's route the drama comes from Natsuki coming to pick up Hayao at work, they walk home together and when they're in the park she asks for a kiss. Just as he kisses her Natsuki shows up and asks what's going on. He just kissed Haruki wearing Natsuki's dress. After that Natsuki refuses to talk to him for days. Finally they work out the issue, confirm their love for each other, and in the end go on a hot spring's vacation together acting like newlyweds. Very cute? Spoilers in Haruki's route In Haruki's route the twins are almost never separated. Several times when Hayao is spending time with Haruki she brings Natsuki along. This culminates in Haruki pinning Natsuki to Hayao's bed, taking off her panties and telling Hayao to take her sister's virginity. She desperately wants to share the boy she loves with her twin AND HE REFUSES. This causes problems because now the twins will be separated which causes tension between them and causes them to fight. He's only after Haruki and Natsuki is now left out. SOMETHING THAT WOULD EASILY BE SOLVED IF HE WOULD JUST HAVE SEX WITH NATSUKI!!! In the end he helps the sisters reconcile by getting them pair tickets to a hotel but Natsuki gives up hers to Haruki so the two can enjoy having sex alone together. The end. I can't. I just can't. This was so utterly stupid. They literally came up with a situation that can be solved with sex, think about that, they literally came up with a situation that can be solved with sex and refused to have the MC fix it. They even have a choice during Haruki's route so I went back 3 times hoping to change the outcome but nope, the choice in the middle of her route does absolutely nothing. Morikubo Yuna was a wonderful tsundere. She's rich, she's spoiled, she's working a part time job on the wishes of her grandfather as a waitress. She's the type of tsundere who, if she likes someone, she's too embarrassed to say anything. There are plenty of indications that she's developing a crush on Hayao even on routes that are not her own. Her route was my absolute favorite. Once she and Hayao start dating she becomes sweet. She's still spoiled, she's still an ojousama, but she never looks down on Hayao for his lower status. She's just in love. There's a great scene where she invites him to a party. She's surrounded by people trying to set her up for marriage for either themselves or their children. She brought Hayao along for the purpose of keeping all these vultures off her at the party. She wants Hayao and she wants everyone to know she wants Hayao. It's a gentle, enjoyable, route without a lot of drama. This was a dream route for a tsundere ojousama. The best though? When they spend the night together at the hotel she rented for the party. He says it feels like the first night after their wedding because they've got a hotel room all for themselves and they're dressed up. So they spend the night having sex while she's calling out 'Danna-sama!' and he's calling her 'Oyome-san'. Wow. One of the best sex scenes ever. His sister Houkou Yuuka was cute. Their relationship develops well. The dates they go on, the times they have sex, the standard 'sneaking around trying not to be caught' because their relationship is incestuous. The major flaw in her route was the sudden drama 3/4 through. It was mind numbingly stupid. The whole thing revolves around his confession to her and her not accepting it. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, my brother misunderstood my advances toward him with my cooking, he must hate me! WAAAAAAAAAAAH. I don't know who came up with that one, it was inserted just to add drama and accomplished nothing. She's a cute sister but that almost ruined it for me. Play the game for Yuna. She's worth it. |
