Review | Good Story, but I was a bit disappointed by some of the plot twists that were either obvious or just had a very stretched-out logic behind them. I wanted to play with knowing as little as possible so I wasn't aware that this was actually a sci-fi story ( I was under the impression that it would be fantasy, but that's on me). This isn't my favorite genre, but I can enjoy it once in a while. However, once again, the logic behind the science felt really incoherent and made up which is not what I expect from sci-fi. Despite this, it was still enjoyable for me, but I feel like anyone with a minimum of background in science might find some aspects more than annoying. Still, the pacing was mostly good and the plot points were well spread throughout the different routes. The characters truly shined: even the LI I had no particular interest in grew on me. Toward the end, I was attached to all of them, if not as a LI, at least as a character. The Protag was also interesting in my opinion. Yes, she was really passive, unconfident, and self-deprecating, but it made sense with her backstory. Also, this was only at the beginning of the routes, and through the story she had a lot of character development that made sense with the events she lived through. Sometimes I wished to see more from her, but it's me being critical. The art, the ART! The only thing I can say: beautiful. As a last note, damn did I wish some of the salvation ends were at least a bit happier. Particularly Lucas's. The only one that is mostly happy come at the cost of the lives of some side characters and one of the LI, but at least the remaining characters kinda have a nice live. |
