| Review | some of the best storytelling ive seen ever in my life that is also accompanied by some of the strangest narrative decisions ive seen and i think that is why i cant in good concience rate hashihime a full 10/10 because in reality i only thought that about a couple of the routes, where the concept matched the level of execution completely. when this game falls short it falls fucking short! it is never fully bad, but i wont pretend that my experience wasnt.. worsened at times. and thats why it's an 8.5. i love this game so much, i love how richly the story is crafted and how much thought is put into it, and so with love i wish that it was as good as i know it can be all the time. the art, soundtrack, and voice acting r all amazing and tamamori is one of the most interesting main characters ive seen. minakami and tamamori may be one of my favorite love stories ever and im serious that for a good 7-9 hours you will be experiencing peak. youll want to die from how insane and heart wrenching it is. i highly recommend playing hashihime and pushing through to see every route because it is a really lovely unique game on the whole:) |
