Review | I like to repeat what I write about indie titles: I'm not a huge indie fan. This is not due to the artwork, the music or the lack of voice acting, but often due to the writing and the story. Obscura is one of those indie gems, absolutely professional and well written, with a promising story. Whether it's the pacing, the atmosphere (which is carried magnificently by the sounds and music) or the dark art style, simply wow wow wow The game is still in EA and I hope they can keep it that way, but anyone who likes dark, mysterious and horror-like VN should get it. Developers who deliver such quality should be supported (of course that's just my humble opinion) You can play as female, male or non-binary and depending on it, it really feels like you're in an otome or BL (I have to say we only played as female MC and so it works perfectly as a dark otome) 9/10 I will update this review with updates if necessary. |
