ReviewI would be lying if i said that this game didn't have a lot of flaws, and while some blame it on the cut content, I kind of disagree; I was able to pick up on most of the context of the scenes where the cut content would've played pretty easily. In fact in one route i believe the cut content would've made the scenes afterwards worse. The protagonists mental state makes also no sense to me, I understand that the point of it is to be confusing since he slowly starts losing it, but in comparison to other visual novels of this style, it happen with no rhyme or reason; in other games this style, the protagonist is either directly stated or heavily implied to have some sort of condition which causes this downfall, this isn't the case here.

But that's not to say this visual novel is bad, far from it, the atmosphere, art and music is phenomenal in my opinion, and the characters are all pretty unique and diverse. A lot of people have noted that this game tends to not explain a lot of things, but I don't think it really needs to, overexcessive worldbuilding is something a lot of media suffers nowadays, and I believe that aspect was handled just right here, especially considering that it looks like the creator is working on a prequel and a spin off to this visual novel.

Overall, a solid 6.5/10 for me, leaning on 7. This vn is decent, and while I did state that my personal experience wasn't tainted by the removed content, I'm still rather sad that the creator took that decision. I respect it, but i hope that next time they don't take that route.
