Review | This VN, like its twin and others in the franchise, very much regularly switches character POV as it focuses on two characters through their own eyes as opposed to a sole focal protagonist, though Hakuno very much is in the spotlight for the majority of the time. The writing and, in particular, speech between characters is very realistically reminiscent of late 2010s primarily-queer/neurodivergent online spaces to the point where it may even feel nostalgic. Unfortunately, it has been multiple years since I last read through this short VN to provide a substantial review by any means so in terms of quality I shall simply say this: This game succeeded in invoking a panic attack multiple times, much crying, and a sinking feeling of dread any time I recall its events. If you are one to empathise with characters, especially queer ones, and social rejection, this will hit hard. |
