ReviewKiara And My Ara Ara Adventure is a cute way to have some decent fun. It lacks some depth but is good while it lasts. You wake up in a strange house being taken care of after some battle that you don’t quite remember and this is never further explored. Neither is how you got to this world to begin with. That being said the present tense of the story is handled pretty well. You get to make a variety of choices to further a relationship with Kiara and learn more about her world and herself. The lewd scenes are well done. There isn’t animation but the voice acting and sound effects make up for that and in some ways are better. The end feels a bit rushed and while it sets itself up for a sequel with the ending it could have used more story at the end in terms of explaining what was to come next. One thing I will mention was the load menu. The developers decided to put white text on a largely white background which was a bad idea. Not a game breaking issue at all but something I would have done differently. The voice acting was really good. I don’t speak Japanese but that added to the appeal to me. It made me focus more on the emotion on the voice which was better than most visual novels which include voice acting.

I played Kiara And My Ara Ara Adventure on Linux. It never crashed on me and I didn’t notice any spelling errors. The game allows you to save whenever you want. Alt-Tab didn’t work.

Overall while it could have used more fleshing out Kiara And My Ara Ara Adventure was a fun game with good voice acting; good lewd scenes; and a good amount of choices. I paid $2.99 USD for it and finished my first play through in 80 minutes. It felt a tad short but was fun while it lasted.
