ReviewAt first, I was attracted by the setting and the fact that it received an anime adaptation(that I did not watch), showing it's popularity and maybe even its quality. While I certainly did not expected a social commentary on capitalism and on the high society, I at the very least thought that maybe having a "normal" protagonist suddenly thrown into this rich lifestyle surrounded by oujou-sama who knew nothing else could be interesting. Furthermore, I had really liked another novel produced by this studio, Valkyrie romance.

I was thoroughly disappointed. The setting is nothing more than a gimmick that is never really exploited to its full potential. It contains all the cliche and twist that come in every oujou-sama route of every vn. Except that here, you can repeat that for all the four heroine. As for the heroines themselves, they all follows pattern and clishe seen a thousand times in anime, manga and vn. (The tsudere, the no-common sense oujou-sama, the boyish knight and the loyal maid.) If you read a vn before, or any romance work, really, you can predict where it will go.

The only thing left is the romance itself. And its not good. You see, this vn is relatively short, especially if you remove the common route, where nothing really happens, from the equation. Meaning that the romance is rushed in all route, sometime to the point of absurdity. You really feel like the protagonist met its love interest only like, three times outside of school before declaring their love. And since the story is so short, the quick succession of h-scenes, that I can usually tolerate, is especially unbearable there. In the end, only a few scene are really dedicated to tension and conflict. You know, the thing that make any story interesting?

I don't recommend this vn to anyone. Its not laughably bad, and there is certainly worst out there. Its just boring, predictable, and I feel like I lost my time reading it. If you are attracted to the setting or the art style, I recommend that you read the other work of the same studio, Walkyrie Romance, instead. Altought they are made by the same studio, this one is decently-written and at the very least interesting and entertaining.
