| Review | ChronoClown/10 Plot - 6 In the absence of conflict in history, such a free narration cannot be allowed, canon does not take shape, there are even a couple of things that can be called paradoxical. The lacking "big idea" and morality simply cannot be criticized as a fact; the novel itself does not even declare these. For a couple of nice twists and quite readable, not overextended main routes, it will also be unfair to put less score. Characters - 6 Pros: DD, Makoto, (?) Michiru. Cons: others. Narrative - 6 Almost no errors and typos, it is pleasant to read. But attempts to change the stylization of the original text in the English version are simply ridiculous. Highlighted: weeb-speak, a literal translation of Japanese features (honorifics, addresses), "buster" and inappropriate swearing all over =\ Atmosphere/Aesthetics - 7.5 Sometimes I caught myself thinking that I was literally enchanted when reading, but this was not because it was very interesting but rather pleasant to read in the literal sense of the word. There is something in the novel that captures, for all its weaknesses I did not want to drop it even once. Yeah! Visual / design - 7 The main menu is beautiful, dynamic text boxes seem to be a cool solution, but with large monitor resolution, of course, it is sometimes inconvenient. The rest is pretty good. Content (CG, BG, sprites, art) - 8.5 With a fairly moderate amount, in 25 hours you regularly see new pics, good bg, cool sprites (except for the legs of male characters, of course, this is very funny). A very beautiful thing and, perhaps, this is the strongest side of VN. Music - 7 There is not enough variety, but nothing bad to say. Okay. Sound design, voice acting - 7.5 Voicing here completely depends on what is happening on the screen, for your favorite characters it seems cool, for the rest it seems ordinary. System sounds are good and there is no different volume level, this is a virtue. Comfort, stability - 9 It works like a clock (xdxdxd), although the menu at the top and backlog opening by mouse wheel raise questions for me personally, as does the gallery, which opens only after a full walkthrough. Steam version - 7.5 Average price, trading cards available, but no achievements. But I appreciate the presence of unexpected BOOBAS in the thing. OVERALL 6.6 points / DECENT (yeah guys I know the average here is 7.2 not 6.6 thank uuuuu for your good math knowledge but not all factors here have the same weight sorry!) |
