ReviewWhen starting the sequel, my expectations were low. First it was made 6 years after the original, in 2017. Second, the story had a pretty good closure already. Why ruin it? Boy, was I wrong. From the heartwarming scenes with the cutiepie daughter to the emotional impact of Emi being completely desperate to save her marriage (really nailed the voice acting there) and MIRACLE ENDING, I almost shed a tear. Makes me wonder if Onborozuki will ever write something like this again instead of shovelware garbage.
One obvious fault though - her PoV is unlocked after finishing the game. At that point, I really didn't feel like going back and reading through flashbacks of her drowning in pleasure, right after the reconciliation and the happy ending.

< report >Usually when I play an NTR game, I can't have that same seriousness compare to reading a novel with NTR elements (Haruki Murakami's are prime examples), since they feel unrealistic and pretty much only there for sex scenes. IMO they don't exploit much about the torturous life the couple are facing, what leads them to their decision of making out with other people and the mental struggles they have to go through in order to keep their relationship afloat.

That said, I haven't played enough to say all NTR games have bad writing, and after reading your review I thought "this game actually did justice to NTR?". Got spoiled a bit but this sparked my interest a little.Last modified on 2021-04-23 at 09:41
