ReviewA horror game with plenty of gore and a wide range of disparate plot elements. Though it's still not as crazy as DokoIku.

While the first half is consistently exciting, the latter half has a lot of repeated/similar developments across routes and can get dull. The romance elements in particular do nothing but bog the pacing down; I'd be fine without them.

There is a true route, though, and the ending itself is fitting and evocative; ultimately it's worth reading the whole game. It will leave you feeling like shit in a good way and I appreciated the dank usage of the Cthulhu mythos elements here. Especially good for imouto lovers. Probably.

Overall Tokihate is worth reading if you want something out of the ordinary, just don't be afraid to skip the boring parts of Komako and Eri's routes.

< report >interesting, i see most of people pessimist with this vn because the developer is moon stone but when i see someone give review about it i feel happy

well, what make feel boring is the prologue is too merrier maybe, that's why most of people feel that romantic development in eri and komako route is too slow down the atmosphere or even not helpful to solve what happen in prologue. even i can feel that the true route in this vn can disappointed some people that have been lose interest to the vn though the true route give interesting development
