Review	Ryuusei World Actor: Badge & Dagger continues on with the story of Hiryuu Ruka, while assuming all the events that happened in the original game (disregarding any romance routes). This game in particular is made of two chapters, each "focused" in a heroine ("focused", as it is mostly non-existent, aside from h-scenes). The first chapter is more of an introductory one, focusing on presenting the new characters and explaining the events that led to the turning point in the story. It is also the chapter where you can branch to the Fuyumi "route". The second chapter is where the best of the story is, linking facts from the previous games and connecting some loose ends. There is also some involvement with Ryouko, but it's more of a main route than a Ryouko one. The ending on this game is open and makes it very clear that there will be a third game. You can already draw some parallels with Kinusaga Shougo's previous works, being similar to how Akatsugi no Goei worked. One main game, one fandisc with more backstory and a final game. TL;DR portion The main story is great, the character routes specific parts are awful. Whatever you do, ignore Fuyumi's route at first and just finish the main game. Come back to it later if you want. Heavy story spoilers section, in case you feel like knowing what happens and comments on it: All in all, this is a pretty good game if you ignore the character routes. While a lot of the points raised in the base game didn't get directly addressed, such as who was using Deruga's to attack the country, what is the Segitt's king intentions or what involvement do elfs have at all in the affairs of the Seventh Republic, you do get some answers over the Church Cult and the Shining Sand Alliance. I'd heavily bet on Nagare, Linda and Iyo gaining character specific routes in the sequel, and wouldn't be surprised if Ryouko shows up again with a route. With Ruka's life nearing its end due to his overuse of powers, some very good drama interaction with the characters are possible. I had lost hope when I played the main game, but can Kinusaga Shougo pull another Tsumibukaki Shuumatsuron? I have high expectations.

It was good, it even got an english localization, green light for Badge & Dagger. They needed to release something fast though, more than two years between the original and this one and they might've lost market. For the next (probably last one too?), they probably won't wait that long, so my bet would be June/July 2022.

And Fuyumi's was literally the same case but gave her a route. Anyways, looking forward to the next game cause the main story is awesome. I took it slowly with the first half of the story which was just introductions to new characters and Fuyumi's route but after that well it had me going to the end.
