ReviewFirst and foremost, let me give a warning that if you absolutely loved the prequel, you might feel a little alienated by this entry, because rather than focusing on trap and charage antics this focuses at lot on the family politics plot to the point of making some heroines take a backseat. That being said, that was a change that i fully welcomed, because it offered the amount of seriousness that helped me realize why this series is so beloved in Japan. The plot is not exactly mind-blowing or anything, but it's fun enough to give a good time. Good, almost great VN.

Ranking down heroines (whole series): Risona>Ursule>Minato>Luna>Mizuho>Bluette>Meryl. (Dietlinde would be one of the top girls if she had a proper route)

Ranking down routes: Risona (just the right balance between charage and plotge elements)>Bluette (heroine takes a backseat to the plot but it explores some side characters really well)>Meryl (a nice plot twist but that's pretty much it).

Addendum about the After Stories (DLC on console version): They're mostly fine extras but i give special credit to Mizuho's one for giving some character development that made it even better than her main story in the original for me. I found a little weird how Minato's After Story gave so much screentime to Nanami that it came off as Asahi having better chemistry with her, though.
