ReviewThis is my 2nd game from Marmalade after Study § Steady and I'm beginning to see their template. First of all this is a good VN, I rate it 6-7/10, but there are some problems.
Common route develops feelings of heroines too much, at the end of it 3/4 of them are already in love with MC, and a lot of their backstories are already revealed, which discourages me from playing their routes because I already know everything about them and the only thing I can gain from playing them are H-scenes.
I was only interested in the Haruhi route because she was the only one not clearly in love with MC, other routes were generic and took too long to get to the relationship in comparison to how much development there already was in the common route.

< report >I respect your opinion, I agree that the VN took an unorthodox road on the common route. But I also think that it ties up in the next sequel (it's a spoiler!). So it really is connecting to the next game. but 6 is too little if I would say, it is made up by the satisfying common route where we follow how our protagonist handles each problem well. I'd even say that the protagonist in this game has a much more personality and is much more consistent in the writing, it feels natural too, there's no forced even or anything like that. So for the future reader, I suggest try this one and see how it goes, I'd say that this is one of the better VN in the Industry esp. for a casual reader and for those who wanted a good storyline.
One thing I resent is Michi doesn't have her own route, she is shown to have an interesting personality and sacrifice so much she also doesn't really mind when she had to sacrifice herself for her friends when needed. hence she got the nickname "bicchi".

Good UI and the settings are complete too. what I loved the most where you can customize the window size when playing windowed. I'd say that things like this get overlooked by the developer that made the game that much better.

< report >#1 I agree that the Mc is good and I'm also sad about Michi, but I was still a bit disappointed by the common route because it did not give each girl the same amount of time. The first 2 chapters are mainly focused on Yuzuki, then 1 chapter about Sera, in which they spoiled the reveal for this character, and the final chapter about Haruhi and a little bit about Kana. I was hoping for Mc to be a part of both student councils, so we can get more interactions with each girl, but he was mainly in Gekka. It would have been much better if he changed who he is supporting in each chapter.

< report >I'm currently on chapter 2. is it just me or did I just easily picked up that MC's online game friend is actually Sera but they both don't know?

< report >@#2     I wish I read this and your mini review before I started this VN. I could've set my expectations appropriately. For the exact reasons you stated, this is why, with some notable exceptions, I generally don't like long common routes—especially in this case where I felt like I was being forced into Yuzuki's route.

@#1 "Settings are complete too."
Not really. No option to halve/lower the music volume when characters are speaking. No option to disable images while skipping, or something equivalent to make skipping faster like jumping to the next choice. No option to rename saves or give them a short description. And no option to display the name of the music track that's currently playing.
