| Review | EDIT: This was updated after finishing. Read more for the total Review. Well it's a well written Moege with all that includes. I don't hate it, it has a very short Common Route and longer individual routes. Kuregas Route is much longer than others, and probably the true route. The routes are written okay but a lot got recycled so... kinda stuff that should have been common route... But it's okay. You'll Will enjoy it if you liked "My GF is the President" or " Nanairo Reincarnation" and similar. Not much deviation there. Okay Drama, Okay Visuals... not shaking your world but might give you wet eyes at times. At the end of the day it's solid and enjoyable which earns it an 8. But it's not a VN you'll come back to or remember years down the line. Edit after finishing: Eh, I guess the Otome route would be the "real" Route, that explains everything. But Just like My GF is the President it's so convoluted and long while repeating a ton of things that have been explained already, not to mention that it didn't need any further explanation really. Finishing it really wants me to dock points off it because the real end is a slog. The Drama and eventual resolution... aren't really worth it. To be a good game without being Horrible FD Bait Kuregas route would be the real one and Aoi would get a Route. So this leaves me at at 6-7 rating. If the game went there it would have been 8, okay in every way, but the writing in their games gets waaaay out of hand. At no point were we questioning the premise and expected a full Backstory for the Backstory, and while the game provides it's not great or really necessary. So you're left with an explanation you didn't want or need for a Story that could have been better if it focused on the Characters that play an actual role. 6.5/10 Good when you start out, worse once you actually finish it. |
