| Review | Has a very cohesive, well constructed, and engaging plot(for the most part). It's action-packed yet always manages to slip in just the perfect amount of breathers. While the vn lacks any kind of high-quality art and animation that often elevates other vns to Excellent rating, the story itself and its brilliant execution almost single-handedly carried the vn. The only two technical setbacks in MLA is that the music selection isn't enough for its length and fight scenes weren't animated very well - but that's due to the old age of this vn - and even then they are still pretty enjoyable. Unfortunately, they messed up the pacing of the last 5-10% of the ending, which singlehandedly knocked 0.5 off of the score. Still worth playing Extra and Unlimited if only for this though |
