ReviewAt its core, a 'detective' novel that's written well-enough to consistently throw the reader off. Kamimaho uses language & symbolism to effectuate its story, adding a layer of depth & complexity; the prose itself is refreshing. Work has some meta-fiction elements, where it discusses what it means to be a 'story' - inclusion paired well with the work's recurrent motif of being centered on library & books.

Kamimaho boasts a strongly-written common route, but rather lackluster heroine routes (ending as soon as they start - unsatisfying). The work has some of the sketchiest production value (for a non-doujin work) - programming errors aplenty at launch - lack of voiced songs & small soundtrack of 20 tracks; but, perhaps there's some unrefined, 'raw' charm to this.
