| Review | This game was a lot better than I expected. Despite the concept being pretty ridiculous there were actually some pretty moving scenes and interesting twists and turns near the latter half of the story. Also the soundtrack was excellent! Way better than it had any right to be. Unfortunatly I can't say the same about the art. While it's by no means terrible I think there was still a little left to be desired. My main gripe is that the way the main heroine's hair is placed makes her forehead look absurdly huge. I don't necessarily mind characters with big forheads but I'd imagine if this character got a haircut she'd be mistaken for a conehead. Whether this was a deliberate choice on the part of the artist or just a poor understanding of how heads work I'm not sure. Luckly the heroine's voice actress did a pretty good job voicing her so I was able to overlook it somewhat. Overall I would recommend this game, especially if you're just starting to learn Japanese as it's pretty easy to follow and doesn't use too many complicated words. 7/10 |
