Review | It's funny how this game and "Sousaku kanojo no ren'ai koushiki" came out on the same month, as these two games are basically "the opposite sides of the same coin". They both centers around the process of creating a game, however they are pretty much different in a lot of ways. Enki dekinai is a light, and yet technical game that centers around the multiple process of creating an eroge. The technicality can be a bore sometimes but it is as down to earth as possible. Whether is because of a slump or unforseen circumstances, the process of creating a game has it's ups and downs and the game gives quite the detail about it. The heroines are mostly older heroines, but all of them teases and wants to be pampered by the protagonist. The protag himself is very proactive, it's pretty neat to see his quick wit to turn adversity into advantages. Sayaka's route is too short, however, and one route lacks a good conflict. Despite that and having tons of writer, the game is quite consistent. The game has a short common and quite lengthy routes. OST's are pretty good, art has improved from their last game. And the voice acting is phenomenal. One big "cons" for me is that the game narrows down it's game production on one thing. Most of them focuses on Pola's route, a new route for the game all of the routes are centered on . Still despite all of that, every route still feels unique. I like Karin's route the most (and Karin herself) and Chisa is my least favorite. Sayaka would be my favorite if her route's portion equals the others. Very recommended, might not if you just finished sousaku kanojo. Both games blabber on about "creators" and i do get sick of it sometimes, at least "Enki dekinai" is not as preachy or pretentious about it. Would be better if you tried some other cube and sonora's previous titles. The callback does adds more flavor to this game. |
