Reviewdropped on chapter 4.

it mostly centers around a fictional sport. which if you're into then sure good for you. personally I just couldn't care about the rules, the fouls, penalties etc since if I wanted to learn to play a new game, I'd just go straight to another game or genre and learn about the more advanced mechanics of pretty much any game really. I mean let's face it, the entire point of playing any game is to make awesome plays like this and if there's no real way I could do that, then why bother.

here's a better example. link this one replay here would possibly mind-boggle even the veteran dota1 players. there should be a comment there explaining what the hell happened and how is this anything worth a good replay. the point is that if even the experienced ones would have trouble understanding what's going on, then what more to the newcomers? this basically is what turned me off to Aokana's fictional sport.

so what's next in line? ah, the heroines. the heroines are just one-note. it's like they're there and that's it. and the fact that they start off as noobs so that MC could flex himself but they're also not noobs (anime logic) isn't helping.

oh yeah, the VN is pretty much using the MC's past as bait to lure readers to keep on reading. I just HAD to ask and apparently it's a stupid reason. He's having a little friendly competition with a newbie he meets on the beach, but the newbie outshines him, and since his pride can't accept that, he goes into permanent Sore Loser Mode and quits FC.

and finally this coming from the developers of koichoco, I'm still cringing on mafuyu route. oh god that awful hospital dash moment.

< report >Saved yourself the trouble. It's so boring and one-dimensional that by the end I was looking forward to the FC matches just to get a break from the cardboard quality tropy dialogue and the surface level struggles of the MC/heroines.
