ReviewSame artist from Raging Loop and summary felt similar so i decided to give it a go. SPOILERS BELOW!

Times when a character dies are largely ones who we never met, they don't even have sprites, so their deaths feels empty. At the murder scenes, is always the same bloody hand CG is shown, some variety would be appreciated. The game has 8 CGs in total. We don't have enough time to interact with Yun Bok before he disappears so we don't have time to fully sympathize with Yuri (the protagonist) position claiming his friend would never do something like murder. The transitions connecting one scene to another is informational telling where is this place, but as you play and grow accostumed to the locations these transitions starts to become bothersome on how slow it is, especially when you want to go fast.

-Mr.Lee: Doesn't make much sense someone so rude and incompetent like Mr.Lee is in a position of power. Mr.Lee is also dumb, even if his daughter is ill who sends a girl by herself to the forest in the middle of the night because a healer you never met told you so. It wasn't very clear the position of Mr.Kim, everytime it is mentioned Mr.Lee is the village Satto but it many cases Mr.Kim is seen having power over Mr.Lee.

-Culprit: This is not a social deduction game but a investigation one which left me disappointed when its revealed the culprit is just a supernatural shapeshifting creature (Kumiho). The motive for all that is to get revenge on Kim's family for something comitted a hundred years ago whose the present family members doesn't have anything to do with it, pretty petty.

-Climax: For the climax i was expecting a trial exposing all the evidence collected thus far and after that some battle involving the village people against the Kumiho, but instead of that Yuri goes to the forest in the night accompanied with Yun Bok to save Eun Seo from getting murdered and substituted by the Kumiho, note that when Yuri tried to fight her alone before on daylight he got owned, the fight was very one-sided. Getting there Yun Bok get tossed aside and doesn't do nothing lefting Yuri to fight her alone again but this time wounds the creature with a knife and shoot an arrow hitting her in the back at the forest and in the middle of the night, i didn't get this abruptly difference in power. At first glance the two don't find the body so i thought the creature must have scaped, alive and planning to return, on the morning they come back and spots the Kumiho body with an arrow on its back, she is dead and all conflict is solved, very anti-climactic.

-Romance: The last of bad points would be the romance. This is not a love story so i was not expecting a lot in this section and it is still bad, the game clearly puts Soo Ah as the romantic interest to Yuri but they never expand on it. One time fake Eun Seo tells Yuri how she (Soo Ah) loves him and he is like: ''Oh what? I never knew!'' (Honestly, i think this exchange is just the writer trying to make us feel sad as Soo Ah was just killed and not about the development of their relationship). He remembers a lot of information obtained from others routes but for some reason he never remembered this bit of information ever again. In the end they don't get together, Yuri goes to another city far from Soo Ah, they don't acknowledge these feelings for one another and that's it. In another route Yuri kinda ends up with Yuna but then it would be a loli-love, worst when you discover they are blood-related but in this route they didn't knew, it would be a incest-loli-love. (I know the existence of the secret ending but it should have been included on the normal ending, i made use of a guide and most people won't bother to search.)

The positives i can see, the setting looks autenthic to old Korean with how things works and looks and also with the implementation of korean words. The art, CG and character sprites are gorgeous. The investigation and murders are all well-paced, they never felt it was dragging on. Even though the actual culprit was a dissapointment the way the investigation is put all together with all the clues you found during other routes are great. Most of the characters are likeable. The proactive, well-mannered, capable and caring yet not submissive neither a pervert protagonist is always a plus.

< report >I felt the same way about the climax. Really seemed like it was setting up for something.
