| Review | Spoiler-less review TLDR: Decent supernatural murder mystery with plenty high quality H-scenes, sudden twist, ok music and overall a very decent character-focused VN that deserves your attention. I decided to give this VN a go because of the poster girl... just look how cute and sexy she is! I guess you're questioning if you should try it out as well and if this will be just one of those brainless nukiges about one single heroine with an average playthrough of 8 hours... the short answer is... YES, this VN deserves your attention! First off - this is not a nukige with no plot, it's a plot heavy eroge that is not just your typical slice of life/ dating sim moege but a supernatural murder mystery about an exorcist and a demon-girl investigating a not so complicated but interesting murder case. The interesting part is that all events take place in a single apartment building and this detail is rather creative (at least it is for me). 1. Character design - very good, the main heroine is cute and sexy, side characters are eerie and mysterious. Sometimes they're scary and sometimes they're cute. The main heroine is fully animated with good lip sync and it adds more to the immersion. 2. Plot - decent murder mystery with a touch of mysticism and there is even a sudden twist! This VN is not a long one but the story is complete, has no plot holes and focus on one single heroine makes character dynamic deep and believable. 3. Music - good production value, but not really memorable. It serves it's purpose and sets the correct mood. From comedy and romance to disturbing and suspenseful. You will not be adding any of the soundtracks to your play list. 4. Protagonist is decent. Characters joke about him being a "virgin looser" and he kind of is but he is not a dumb kid who doesn't realize that a hot girl falls for him and does nothing about it. He is strong willed, clever but inexperienced with girls (not for long though) and he is better than most average date sim/moege protagonists with no backbone. 5. H-scenes - top of the notch, EVERYTHING is animated and amazing and presented in full uncensored glory! keeping your hands on the table is a challenge so be careful! This VN is definitely worth your attention if you want a serious (yet supernatural) murder mystery story with a cute and sexy heroine with a decent amount of high quality uncensored H-scenes. In my opinion eroge that can provide a good combination of plot and PLOT (if you know what I mean) deserves praise and that is why you should give this VN a chance. |
