ReviewAmore Tech has some interesting parts to it for sure. For instance more so than in many other visual novels I felt like you could ride the line of being shady while not outright evil. Maybe not as much as I would have liked but more than most. I really liked the characters of Brandy and Avery. I also liked that Dominique was a stronger wife than many visual novels give you. Less damsel and more your equal. I liked Andrea as well but felt that she didn’t have much time to do more. That was the same for Brandy really. The story overall was interesting although I felt it jumped the shark a bit near the end with the plot needing more explanation than was given and not making the most sense. The character models were alright but did seem a bit fuzzy at times and not as detailed as in some other games. The object detail, on items like cars, was good though. There were also no animations for the lewd scenes which many other game sin the genre have. The music was decent but felt like it could get a bit repetitive.

I played Amore tech on Linux. It never crashed. I noticed five spelling errors including one of the character’s names, where “Veronica” was spelled “Veronika” once. You could manually save whenever you wanted and there were fifty four save slots. Alt-tab didn’t work.

Game Engine: Ren’Py 7.3.5.606
Graphics API: OpenGL
Game Version Played: 1.0
Disk Space Used: 2.1 GB

GPU Usage: 0-7 %
VRAM Usage: 330-722 MB
CPU Usage: 1-6 %
RAM Usage: 2.1-2.3 GB

Overall Amore Tech isn’t a bad game but in the visual novel genre there are far better leaving it in the middle of the pack. If it had a tighter story; animated lewd scenes; and better spelling and grammar than I could recommend it. I finished it in two hours and seventeen minutes. I picked it up for free before it cost money and will say that even the current price of $4.99 USD isn’t a bad one for what you get.
