| Review | Coming from the amazing trilogy of Kyonyuu Fantasy + Gaiden 1 and 2, I had relatively high hopes for at least the story of this. Unfortunately, Waffle disappoints me completely. This VN is absurdly boring. It's fight after fight with a predominant magical girl theme, until there's a choice. Pick the wrong one, you get fucked and you get a game over. Pick the right one, you might still get fucked! But there's no game over, so it's okay. Then read a bit before the next fight. Utterly boring story, the overall theme was really far from what I was expecting, and the scenes weren't particularly alluring either. Only read this if you're really, really down bad for some interspecies mutant action or something. And even then, there's probably better out there and I just haven't read it. |
